A collection of musical scores from Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s home in Florence, donated by his family to the Lyceum Club Internationale di Firenze, is now cataloged. More than 700 pieces of music in both manuscript and printed forms which belonged to the composer are included in the collection.

The dates of the publications range from 1620 to 1964, representing more than 100 composers with texts in five languages and three different Italian dialects. The majority date from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and many have personal dedications to the composer from teachers, friends, and colleagues.

A list is available for download on the Fondo Castelnuovo-Tedesco page of Lyceum Club’s website by clicking the button, “Entra nel catalogo”. Visitors to the page can also view a gallery of images of the cover pages of these scores, including dedications to the composer.
